Take a tour through the apartments of the Habsburg family, and visit the Hall of Ceremonies and Mirror Room before leisurely strolling through the gardens. While strolling this UNESCO world heritage site, you may notice a resemblance to the gardens of Versailles. Schonbrunn means “Beautiful Spring” reflecting the importance of the artesian spring in the center of the gardens. The complex also has an arboretum, maze, and small zoo.

This 12th Century gothic cathedral, survived the Turkish siege in 1683 and is notably the place where Napoleon held his farewell proclamation in 1805. Both Haydn and Mozart were married in this cathedral and over 10,000 are buried in the catacombs beneath. To visit the catacombs, you must take a private tour. Visit the south tower and take a climb up 343 steps to the "Turmerstube" and look out on all of Vienna. The view is work the climb!


This 13th Century palace is the former imperial winter palace of the Habsburg dynasty and today serves as the official residence and office of the President.  The famous Spanish Riding School is part of the complex and be sure to visit the Swiss court and the imperial apartments while here.
